Moment smiling Novichok victim jokes around buying booze hours before deadly nerve agent poisoning

Footage shows the 44-year-old in a jovial mood at an off licence in Salisbury, Wiltshire - unaware that she was about to be poisoned by deadly Novichok.

The CCTV was recorded at the Best 1 Local off licence, where the mum-of-three bought wine and beers on both Thursday and Friday evening before falling ill on Saturday lunch time.

In other footage, taken during another trip to the shop, she appeared to brush past a child, although there’s nothing to suggest she was contaminated at that point.

Dawn was later found frothing at the mouth alongside her boyfriend Charlie Rowley, 45, at his house seven miles away in Amesbury.

The pair remain in a critical condition in hospital after coming into contact with the same deadly nerve agent used in the attack on Sergei Skripal and daughter Yulia in March.

Police believe the couple may have been poisoned after touching a syringe at Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury - and now cops are imdesperately hunting to find the deadly vial.

Police have no idea where the deadly vial used in the Salisbury poisoning is — and fear a child could pick it up.

They believe the container carrying the deadly Novichock used to target the ex-Russian spy and his daughter may have been simply thrown away and could kill anyone who touches it.

Following the original poisoning a multi-million pound decontamination programme was carried out before the town was declared safe. Nine locations were forensically cleansed including three in the town centre, two ambulance stations and Mr Skripal's home.
